While Batman v Superman, simultaneously, succeeds and fails at the box office, the MCU is simultaneously creepin’ and triple lindy’ing its way into pools of cash. At least, that’s what it’s projected to do this year, kicking things off with Captain America: Civil War on May 6th.
And along with the first trailer for Doctor Strange, Marvel/Sony gave us the official title of the new Spider-Man reboot.
Our new friendly, neighborhood Spidey, himself, Tom Holland dropped by CinemaCon to reveal the official title as well as to introduce a clip featuring Tony Stark as Robert Downey Jr. with Aunt May. So it sounds like the reboot is moving in the right direction over at Sony with Marvel looking over its shoulder. Early reviews for Civil War are extremely positive and most are saying that Spider-man is a scene stealer. He’s also a shield stealer.
