“Dirty Dancing” star, Patrick Swayze dies at 57 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. His publicist said,

“Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,”

I liked “Ghost”. I even liked “Dirty Dancing” except for the dancing. But I’m partial to “The Outsiders” ,”Red Dawn” and the awfully good “Point Break”. He will be missed. But his legacy will live on in the form of touching movie scenes like the famous “Roadhouse” throat rip.

Swayze was last seen in A&e’s drama, “The Beast”
