My Favorite Moments From This Week’s The Walking Dead – “Walk With Me” (S3E3)
This week’s episode of The Walking Dead, appropriately titled Walk With Me, slowed the pace down a bit. But, by no means was it a waste of an episode. Rick and the gang we’re absent this episode but we’re treated to alot more Michonne and finally introduced to a major player from this season. Let’s get started.
***SPOILERS SPOILERS***

4.Merle is back
I think we all knew this was coming but I didn’t expect it to happen this late in the series. Either way, it’s cool to have that one handed jerk back. But not only is he back, he’s sporting a wicked ass multi-weapon metal prosthetic.
Now, even tho he seems a more behaved right now, I’m guessing he’s gonna be problematic later on. Like “Mr. Blonde” problematic. Especially if he’s reunited with Rick and his brother.
3. Meet the Governor of Woodbury

Since the end of season 2 there’s been alot of anticipation for the introduction to the Governor character. We’re finally introduced to this year’s anti-Rick. I was under the impression that he was gonna be running the prison that Rick’s group found shelter in, but we find out that the Governor is an actual Governor of sorts for a large community of survivors. Woodbury looks like a peaceful town that promotes unity and life and equality, but I have a feeling the Governor is secretly running that place like Shawshank. He’s making the Ricktatorship look like Lambda Lambda Lambda.
2. Michonne fires her Zombie Butlers
Michonne might be the coolest character in fiction with the least amount of screen time since Boba Fett. This week, not only did we learn that she has no qualms about offing her loyal zombie bellhops, but we also find out she’s been using them as camouflage for other walkers. It’s quite brilliant. She’s the sharpest kitana blade in the toolbox. I have a feeling she’s gonna have more cool s*** to do this season. But, we’ll we ever see her smile? Time will tell.
1. The Governor has binders full of zombies
To be more precise, he has fish tanks of zombie heads. We all knew there was gonna be a dark and twisted side to the Governor. We thought we had seen the extent of it when we took out the small group of the unexpecting soldiers. But, the show would end with a glimpse of Ol’ Guvnah’s trophy room. I’m already excited about this character. Not sure I want him sitting behind me while I’m driving, but I’m looking forward to his wrongdoing this season and I hope there will be a meetup with Rick and the gang soon.
Holy S*** Moment of the Week
Death by helicopter propeller
I don’t think anyone would argue that this season is the bloodiest yet and we’re only on episode 3.
This week we get to see something new in the How To Die On The Walking Dead Playbook. One brave soldier goes down with his helicopter only to be chopped at the waist by a propeller blade.I don’t even know how that happened. Did he try to jump out mid crash and dive right into the propeller? Come on, dude. It’s like double dutch. You gotta time it right.
And to add insult to injury, the poor bastard had to die all over again after he turned into a half zombie. Afterlife’s a b****.
