Upside Down Is An Uneccessary Love Story
Upside Down looks like your standard Romeo & Juliet love story combined with the audacity of a direct-to-DVD imitation of a big budget blockbuster. You heard me. It’s about two lovers who are separated by two worlds, one of which is on top of the other. Don’t be confused. It’s actually what you’re picturing. There’s an upside down directly on top of our right side up world. I don’t know why this is the case. In the film’s universe or the writer’s head. It just seems like such a greatly unnecessary plot conflict. I understand that making the two lovers come from rival families or different races might be too old and boring. But a movie about a shark/octopus hybrid on SyFy seems more reasonable this.
